Unit 1 Explore creative attributes in individuals
This unit focuses on individuals and considers their skills and attributes in relation to invention, innovation and entrepreneurial activity. The candidates will study a successful entrepreneur and also review their own skills and abilities.
What the candidate must do:
1.1.1 Describe invention and innovation and list the similarities and differences
1.1.2 Define entrepreneurship
1.1.3 Select and research a successful entrepreneurial figure using a secondary source
1.1.4 Describe the entrepreneurial skills and attributes demonstrated by the chosen figure
1.1.5 Describe the benefits of entrepreneurial behaviour
1.1.6 Review own abilities, experience and skills and consider whether you have entrepreneurial skills and attributes
