Unit 3 Explore the impact of change on society

This unit introduces the concept of change and considers how society responds to change. Exploration is carried out into past change and its impact on society and also considers future change and its impact on society.

What the candidate must do:

3.1.1 Discuss how the world has changed over the last 50 years
3.1.2 Explain the causes of these changes
3.1.3 Explore the impact that these changes have had on society
3.1.4 Show examples of how people have responded positively and negatively to these changes in our world
3.1.5 State the importance of demonstrating an entrepreneurial attitude when faced with change
3.1.6 Discuss ways in which you think our world may change in the future 3.1.7 Describe own ideas about how you think future changes may impact on society
